The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace features a sharper design, extended equipment, technology updates, variable interior with up to 7 passengers.
It boasts a 1,920-litre storage space, new interactive “IQ.LIGHT – LED matrix headlights” and dynamic indicators, new touch-sensitive controls for the standard automatic air conditioning. A continuous LED light bar as a linking element between the front headlights is a new option.
For Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace three equipment lines are available – Life, Elegance, R-Line. There are five engine options – three TSI and two TDI, with displacements of 1.5 and 2.0 liters, outputs of 110, 147, 140, and 180 kW, front and 4 Motion four-wheel drive, a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG.
Volkswagen modified a front end and added an extra 22 mm for design purposes, with the interior dimensions remain the same.
Improvements for the German market include a new multifunctional leather steering wheel, a “Light Assist” headlight control system, a 6.5-inch infotainment display, online services, “ACC” Adaptive Cruise Control, an emergency brake assistant Front Assist.
High-end trims come with chrome elements, 19-and 20-inch alloy wheels, specific logos, Carbon Grey decorative inserts, Digital Cockpit Pro, a “Black Style” design package, black attachments. The towing capacity with 4WD reaches 2.5 tons.
Presales of the model recently started. The entry price for Germany is at €36,230.
