The new 4th-generation Skoda Octavia has gone into mass production at the factory in Mladá Boleslav.
On November 28, 2019 the first vehicle rolled off the assembly line.
The latest 2020 Octavia is considered to be the best ever for 60 years on its history – more emotive, spacious, high-tech, safe and better connected. It is also the first-ever Skoda to offer a head-up display.
Skoda annually delivers around 40,000 Octavias and daily produces 1,150 new cars at Mladá Boleslav.
The model is especially popular in the brand’s homeland, Czech Republic, as well as in Austria, Finland and Switzerland. More than 6.5 million cars have been sold since its launch in 1959.
The next-generation Skoda Octavia made the official debut at the National Gallery in Prague’s Trade Fair Palace on 11 November, 2019.
To build the new Octavia, the manufacturer renovated the production lines. It incorporated innovative technologies and processes.
