New Porsche 911 GT3 Offers Touring Package with Omitted Fixed Rear Wing

Now customers can order the popular Touring Package for the 7th edition of the 375-kW Porsche 911 GT3 at no extra charge.

The name ‘Touring package’ goes back to the equipment of the 911 Carrera RS from 1973.

The car’s weight is just 3,126 pounds (1,418 kg) with a standard 6-speed GT sports manual gearbox. For the first time, the Touring package also comes with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission at no extra cost. This variant weighs 3,164 pounds (1,435 kg). The 375-kW (510 HP) 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine powers the vehicle.

The exterior distinction is an omission of the fixed rear wing. A rear spoiler extends automatically and guarantees necessary downforce at high speeds.

The side windows feature silver strips of high-gloss anodized aluminum. The front end is fully painted in the exterior color. This version has a unique interior with leather items in Black and special surface embossing on the dash and the upper side sections.

The starting price of the model in Germany is 170,969 euros including VAT and country-specific equipment. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring will arrive in the United States in early 2022 and cost from $163,450 – the same as the standard GT3.
