After the new Peugeot 508 sedan successfully debuted on the market, the French automaker has introduced the SW (station wagon) version.
Sales of the Peugeot 508 SW start in ten major European countries from May 26 to September 1, 2019. From June 7, you can order a hybrid version of the wagon (estate) with output of 225 horsepower.
The new Peugeot 508 features the latest-generation driver assistance systems that meet EuroNCAP’s newest requirements. Depending on the version, the equipment includes an infrared night vision system (unique for this segment) and an adaptive cruise control in combination with Lane Keep Assist (an element of autonomous driving).
The Peugeot 508 SW is available with the new generation PureTech and BlueHDi engines, namely:
Two petrol (gasoline) units (1.6 l)
- PureTech 180 S & S EAT8,
- PureTech 225 S & S EAT8;
four diesel engines (1.5- and 2.0-liter)
- BlueHDi 130 S & S 6-speed manual,
- BlueHDi 130 S & S EAT8,
- BlueHDi 160 S & S EAT8,
- BlueHDi 180 S & S EAT8.
All these engines already comply with the Euro6.d standard that comes into force from January 2020. The WLTP-rated CO2 emissions level is best in class.
The new Peugeot 508 SW is available in France at a price of 33,600 euros.
