Let’s take a look at new models whose appearance is expected in the Foggy Albion in August 2022.
The Cupra Formentor VZ5 is the model’s most powerful and sophisticated variant powered by a reborn 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged TSI engine. The unit makes 385 hp (287 kW) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque in combination with a 7-speed DSG transmission. The vehicle speeds up from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and gains a top speed limited to 155 mph.
The Kia Xceed crossover has got updates following its smaller sibling – the Kia Ceed hatchback. Kia believes the SUV version will gain even more popularity.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (upper photo) has changed a generation. The premiere will take place on June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. EST / 5 p.m. CET on the Mercedes me media online platform. Afterwards, the model will be gradually hitting different markets.
The second-gen GLC becomes longer, wider, and lower. It offers more cargo space and improved styling. The engine lineup will include mild-hybrid (with a 23-hp electric motor) and plug-in hybrid variants (300e and 400e gasoline and 300de diesel), with a battery up to 60 kW.
Four-cylinders offer 204 hp and 258 hp (gasoline), 194 hp and 265 hp (diesel). A 6-cylinder engine with over 300 horsepower will be also available in some markets.
The Nissan X-Trail is the largest SUV of the brand in Europe. Now it returns with an ePower hybrid powertrain borrowed from the new Qashqai and a design that is similar to the US-spec Nissan Rogue.
