The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV looks the same as the already-launched gasoline-powered Outlander. This is about a new design concept – Bold Stride.

The exterior features an improved Dynamic Shield design of the front part, thick horizontal accents, sharp lines, muscular fender flares, 20-inch wheels, a PHEV badging at the rear, horizontal T-shaped signature taillights. A hexagon motif of the tailgate alludes to spare tires of Mitsubishi SUV heritage models. There are ten exterior colors to choose from, including the Diamond Color series.

The new interior of the regular Outlander has already won the 2021 Wards 10 Best Interiors Award in the USA. The plug-in hybrid version will have the same comfortable, ergonomics, user-friendly cabin with standard third-row seating and good-quality materials. The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV interior features a horizontally sculpted dashboard. All the controls are easy to see and use.
