Kia has presented its new-gen Carnival minivan (called Sedona in the USA). It has added to the size, tech and style, and looks really good and modern.
The model in its next iteration becomes longer, wider, roomier, gets a 1.2-inch longer wheelbase. The cargo space behind the third row is enlarged too.
The new vehicle offers optional second row captain’s chairs, an eight-passenger configuration, two 12.3-inch digital screens inside.
Under the hood, the model comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 290 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. It works in pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The minivan goes on sale in South Korea soon, and then it enters other markets. It will most likely arrive in the USA in 2021 as a 2022 model. Expect a minor price rise over the current cost that starts at $31,520.
