New Interior of 2023 Honda CR-V Is Unified and Ergonomic

The interior of the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V has been shown in a teaser photo.

The automaker names the Honda CR-V’s cabin “sporty and modern”, “more premium, comfortable and high-tech” offering “upscale touches” and “even more space”. Honda promises to unveil more details on the redesigned model on July 12, 2022.

If we compare the interior BEFORE and NOW, we can see that a new infotainment screen is posed near the top of the dash, and a new honeycombed climate control vent spans from the steering wheel to the passenger door. The vent resembles that in the 2022 Honda Civic Si.

It seems good that physical climate controls stay on the dash. The new interior is generously trimmed in black leather with orange stitching.

We suggest some customers may dislike the increased use of black plastic and insufficiency of metal trim bits like chrome or brushed aluminum, as well as banished faux wood that brightened up the cabin space of the outgoing CR-V.

The updated interior of the 2023 Honda CR-V looks akin to the HR-V and Civic cabins, which allows us to say that Honda has worked to unify the interiors of its various models. The next CR-V generally looks cleaner, more modern, and ergonomic inside than its predecessor.
