Ford has announced a launch of the 2019 Ford Ranger Raptor for the European market in summer 2019. This vehicle is much lighter and has a different engine compared to its North American brother.
The Ford Ranger Raptor mid-size pickup developed by Ford Performance arrives in Europe’s dealerships in mid-2019. The carmaker uses a bi-turbo 2.0-liter 210-hp EcoBlue diesel engine (369 lb-ft/500 Nm of torque) for this model instead of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 which powers the 2019 Ranger for the USA.
A 10-speed automatic gearbox and Terrain Management System come in standard. Specific all-terrain features include BF Goodrich tires, aluminum control arms, brake calipers, a rear suspension, Fox shock absorbers, underbody protection, approach and departure angles of 32.5 and 24 degrees respectively.
As for the pricing, in the UK, for example, the base price for the new hot Ford Ranger Raptor starts at £48,795. The Raptor itself is a segment best-seller in this country and beats such models as the Mitsubishi L200, Nissan Navara or the Toyota Hilux.
