Ford has been testing a new Ford Fiesta in the production body. The available spy shots let us see a coupe SUV’s silhouette with a distinguishing roofline slope. When it arrives, it’ll be the smallest such vehicle to date on the market.
Even in camouflage it looks rather stylish, but the design features are not final and still may change. The new Ford Fiesta is a potential rival for the Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-3, Kia Stonic.
To meet modern market demand, the automaker needs a car to fill a place between the Fiesta Active and the Ecosport in its small crossover lineup.
The upcoming Fiesta, which receives its proper name when launched, may replace the subcompact Ford Ecosport, at least in some markets, borrowing the EcoBoost engine range of the latter.
We suppose it will get an optional all-wheel drive in addition to FWD configuration.
