The expansion of the Cadillac lineup happens systematically in recent years. The Cadillac CT4 compact sedan will soon join to other General Motors’ new products.
Steve Carlisle, Cadillac’ head, in his latest interview confirmed that they will present the CT4 in the end of this year. This model sits below the recently introduced CT5 sedan which, if not designed for mainstream buyers, should at least attract potential customers with its interesting price.
The latter, however, will be announced after the New York Auto Show, where the Cadillac CT5 makes its official debut.
As for the more compact Cadillac CT4, its prototypes repeatedly got into spy cameras. We can see that the CT4, even camouflaged, looks like a shortened CT5.
It is hardly worth expecting a revolution in design from Cadillac. However, a hot version CT4-V is promising, as well as a possible sedan-based coupe.
In recent years and even months, Cadillac has been pursuing an aggressive policy of its range expansion. The flagship CT6 was introduced not so long ago, the XT4 compact SUV soon goes on sale at a competitive price (from $34,795). This summer we expect the performance CT6-V in the USA.
Cadillac introduces the CT4 and CT5 sedans, the flagship XT6 crossover in 2019, as well as the updated XT5 and Escalade and an all-electric SUV.
It is possible that Cadillac will expand its lineup in Europe, where the XT5 crossover, the flagship Escalade, the ATS-V and CTS-V sports sedans and the full-size CT6 sedan are on sale today.
