Mass production of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has officially begun. Expect deliveries to customers in late February – early March.
The first Corvettes rolled off the assembly line at the facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The U.S pricing for the Corvette C8 starts at $59,995.
The 2020 vehicles will reach dealer showrooms in 3-4 weeks.
A potent naturally aspirated mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine still powers the car letting it speed up to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and 122 mph (196 km/h) in 11.2 seconds.
According to EPA rating, the fuel consumption achieves 27 mpg (8.7 l/100 km) on the highway.
The new Chevy Corvette is quite capable to battle against more expensive McLaren 570S/GT or the Audi R8.
