The 2023 BMW X7 SAV got extensive exterior design refinements and an expanded range of standard equipment.
The Bavarian carmaker has announced U.S. pricing for the new, 2023 BMW X7 and prepares to launch the model on the American market in the third quarter of this year. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the base X7 xDrive40i is $78,845, and the X7 M60i costs $104,095, including a $995 destination charge.
The exterior of the X7 embodies BMW’s new design language with its spectacular front end including a newly designed BMW kidney grille with cascade lighting., a refreshed M Sport package, light-alloy wheels up to 23 inches, a refined rear end with three-dimensional lights, and new exterior colors.,
The model uses the latest-generation control system including the integration of the BMW Curved Display with the BMW iDrive 8 infotainment system.
Additional driver assistance features join the list of standard equipment. In particular, BMW Digital Key Plus is now available on all X7 grades, while Active Roll Stabilization and Integral Active Steering come as standard on the X7 M60i.
The X7 xDrive40i version’s 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine becomes 40 hp more powerful and produces 375 hp now. The BMW X7 M60i modification is powered by a 4.4-liter 523-hp M TwinPower Turbo V8. Both engine variants are from the modular generation of BMW Group”s Efficient Dynamics engine family and adopt the latest 48V mild-hybrid technology.
BMW will produce the 2023 X7 at its plant in Spartanburg alongside other models of the X series. In addition to the X7, the market launch of the Alpina XB7 will follow early next year.
The X7, by the way, is the third BMW by sales in America in the first quarter of 2022 (6,462 units), after the BMW X5 (16,478 sales) and the X3 (13,942 vehicles sold).
