New Acura RDX Goes On Sale From November 2

The new Acura RDX will begin arriving at the U.S. dealers on November 2, 2021. Meanwhile, customers can make pre-orders. Acura has already set the 2022 pricing. The starting price is $40,345.

Acura refreshed the RDX for the 2022 model year. The car will be available at retailers in 2 weeks. The new Acura RDX has received more sophisticated styling, a quieter interior, suspension retuning, and more standard features. The automakers say this is “the most dynamic, comfortable and refined 5-passenger SUV in Acura history”.

New features for 2022 include the addition of the Advance Package with power-folding side mirrors, updates to the Integrated Dynamics System, improved functionality of AcuraWatch; enhanced Active Sound Control system, standard wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto/Amazon Alexa Built-In; available Qi-compatible wireless charging, new paints, a flat-bottom sport steering wheel.

Acura IconicDrive now offers 27 unique color combinations of interior lighting. 24 of them are inspired by the world’s famous driving destinations. Thanks to new turnings, the adaptive damper system is more responsive now and provides a smoother ride.

The fuel economy of the 2022 Acura RDX is 21-22 mpg in the city, 26-28 mpg on the highway, 23-24 mph combined – depending on a grade.

The base model – RDX – costs $40,345 with front-wheel drive and $42,545 with all-wheel drive. The RDX with Technology Package is priced at $42,995 (FWD), and $45,195 (SH-AWD). The mid-level RDX A-Spec comes only with Technology Package. It costs $45,995 (FWD) and $48,195 (SH-AWD).

The RDX with Advanced Package (SH-AWD only) is $50,345. The RDX A-Spec with Advance Package is $52,345. The most expensive is the Acura RDX PMC Edition: $55,295. The prices include a destination charge.
