The 2023 Kia Niro PHEV is coming to retailers. The starting price (MSRP) is $35,035.
The 2023 Kia Niro is already on sale in the USA. A hybrid version went on sale last month, and in October a plug-in hybrid joins – the model’s most attractive version, in our opinion. Its new price is $35,035 for the EX trim level and $40,785 for the SX Touring variant. Pricing includes a destination fee.
In brief, the 2023 Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid is an affordable urban crossover: nice-looking, spacious and comfortable inside, full of tech and efficient, easy to drive in the city, and decent on the highway. This is a great choice for those who want something more up-to-date that an internal combustion car but are still unready to sit behind the wheel of a pure electric vehicle.
The Kia Niro PHEV is basically a regular Niro with a larger battery of 11.1 kWh and a bigger electric motor of 62 kWh which offer more power and range than the conventional hybrid.
