New 2022 Lexus LX 600 Debuts: Brings Total Redesign

A new-generation 2022 Lexus LX 600 has made its debut. The carmaker totally redesigned the model inside and out. Sales start in the 1st quarter of next year.

Toyota’s luxury brand has revealed the all-new 2022 Lexus LX 600. The carmaker reengineered the vehicle’s body-on-frame architecture, applied human-centered technologies and fully optimized almost every component.

The fourth-gen LX 600 now adopts a new GA-F platform which is 20 percent more rigid than before, while the weight is 441 pounds less. Its exterior features optimized proportions, athleticism, accessible functionality, 22-inch forged aluminum wheels (18- and 20-inch options are also available).

A new high-output, high-torque 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine powers the model in combination with a direct-shift 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 409 hp and 479 lb.-ft. The maximum torque is maintained in a wide range up to 3,600 rpm.

New Electronically Controlled Brake system and Electric Power Steering provide more refined control in various road conditions.

The cabin of the Lexus LX600 is all-new. The instrument panel features Lexus Interface with the brand’s first dual display configuration of a 12.3-inch upper and a 7-inch lower high-definition touchscreen. Also, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound clear and intuitive system is available for the newcomer.

The new LX range includes five grades: three old – Standard, Premium, Luxury, two all-new – F SPORT with a sporty look, unique touches and sports handling, and Ultra Luxury that offers four independent seats for opulent comfort on all road surfaces.

The 2022 Lexus LX600 will arrive at dealerships in the first quarter of 2022. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale time.
