Recently the USA’s National Insurance Crime Bureau has published its latest “Hot Wheels” report that includes the 2019 TOP 10 models–favorites of car thieves.
The report includes vehicle theft data from across the United States submitted by law enforcement to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
The Ford full-size pickup has been on the list before. In 2019, it took the first place for the first time supplanting the previous favorite Honda Civic.
Why Ford? There are many Ford pickups on the road, this explains the large number of thefts.
The F-Series is America’s top-seller for 43 years. Last year, Ford sold 896,526 units.
The second most stolen after Ford is the Honda Civic, followed by the Chevrolet Pickup (Full Size)
