Most Interesting Car Debutes Of the Last Week

All-new Smart electric cars, refreshed Audi 5 series family and restyled Toyota Tacoma, the second-generation Nissan Juke and a long-awaited Porsche Taycan became headliners last week.

On the eve of main motor shows manufacturers often present their new developments. The IAA in Frankfurt, that opens next week, is not an exception. So, we offer the most interesting newcomers which we have seen these days.

This most popular midsize pickup truck in the USA has undergone a slight restyling. The model is available in 32 variants, including TRD Sport, Off-Road and TRD Pro.

2020 Audi A5

The Audi A5 Sportback, A5 Coupé, A5 Cabriolet, as well as a hot Audi S5 Sportback TDI and the Audi S5 Coupe TDI have been refined. A mild-hybrid technology offers more driving comfort and reduced fuel consumption. A 3.0 TDI engine with the electric compressor and the 48-volt electrical system is a major innovation for the S5.

2020 Smart EQ

From now on, the Smart brand will only produce electric cars. The new EQ line is the starting point. All three new models feature the same 82-hp electric motors with a torque of 160 Nm (118 lb-ft).

2020 Porsche Taycan

The first all-electric Porsche sports car has received over 20,000 pre-orders before its official premiere. An 800-volt electrical system allows charging in 5 minutes to cover a distance of 100 km (62 miles). Two motors of the four-wheel-drive vehicle develop up to 760 hp.

2020 Nissan Juke

Consumers have been waiting for the second-generation Juke for over 9 years. Finally, Nissan has introduced a new generation with an advanced Active Safety suite, up-to-date infotainment equipment, a new platform and a 117-hp 3-cylinder engine.
