MINI Adds Pat Moss Edition In Honor of International Women’s Day

A new 2023 Pat Moss Edition from the Mini brand celebrates female British racing driver Pat Moss who won in an international rally 60 years ago – in May 1962.

The Pat Moss Edition commemorates Mini’s first victory in Tulip Rally – the male-dominated motorsports competition and, remarkably, a woman rally team won, with Pat Moss behind the wheel of a classic Mini Cooper.

The special version debuts today, on March 8, 2022, International Women’s Day, and will be available to customers from May in a limited quantity of just 800 vehicles globally.

They will come in the form of the Mini Cooper S Hardtop 2- and 4-door cars, the John Cooper Works Hardtop, with all equipment that is standard for these models. In the USA, it will be the 2023 Mini John Cooper Works Hardtop 2-door. Either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed sport automatic transmission will be offered.

The Pat Moss Edition is the 5th fifth model that joins Mini’s special edition lineup. It features unique elements which cite the brand’s racing history and the sporting careers of Pat Moss and co-pilot Ann Wisdom: a stylized tulip, wheel hub covers, side scuttles, a white horizontal hood stripe, a graphic imprint of Pat Moss’s original signature.

The car comes with an innovative Multitone Roof with color variants including Jet Black, Chili Red, Melting Silver. The roof paintwork is combined with Pepper White or Midnight Black metallic body finishes, red exterior mirror caps.

The interior features an iconic signature on the Piano Black surface in the passenger area, a sports leather steering wheel with a tulip emblem, graphics depicting engine pistons moving up and down, M and W-shaped bars.
