Test mules of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan has been caught on camera of spies during road tests near the Arctic Circle.
The model underwent a facelift last year. But the company is working on its next iteration without wasting time.
The sedan will receive a fresh appearance, the newest technical part and high technologies, including the ones which better driver convenience. A new S-Class coupe will also arrive to challenge to the BMW 8-Series.
We expect the next level of autonomous driving on the upcoming S-Class. The car maker will likely update the motor range of gasoline, diesel and hybrid units.
Later on Mercedes should provide an all-electric equivalent to the S-Class under the EQ sub-brand, as well as hot AMG versions, including with the 48V mild hybrid system.
Dense disguise on test vehicles conceals changes, though they will scarcely be dramatic. However, being a range-topping model in the brand’s lineup, the next S-Class may well feature a new design language.
