Next year Mercedes-Benz will introduce a new (second) generation of the CLA model, both a four-door coupe and a wagon (shooting brake).
The coupe debuts in January 2019 at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The shooting brake will follow in a few months after. Later on the cars will arrive to dealer showrooms.
The CLA wagon has already gone to road tests, almost in a production body with series lights and no fake body panel, though still camouflaged. Car spies were on guard and photographed the test prototypes in process.
The new Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake will be larger, more practical and with a roomier trunk than its predecessor, but retains the overall styling. Both CLAs (coupe and wagon) inherit their interior and technical part from the new A-Class.
This means we’ll see 10.25-inch displays of the dashboard and MBUX multimedia system. The latter, by the way, debuts on the Mercedes-Benz CLA at the CES 2019. The shooting brake features a rear view camera hidden under the emblem on the trunk lid.
The AMG A35 and A45 sports versions should arrive too.
