Mercedes-Benz Readies to Debut C-Class All-Terrain Wagon

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class All-Terrain will go on sale at the end of 2021. Customers will have a choice between gasoline and diesel engines with a mild-hybrid technology, a 9-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive as standard.

The all-new C-Class All-Terrain wagon will debut at the Munich International Motor Show this September. This is the second vehicle of this class in the Mercedes model range.

When the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain entered the market in the spring of 2017, it was set against the Audi A6 allroad quattro, first of all. The main rival of the more compact C-Class All-Terrain is the Audi A4 allroad quattro. BMW does not have off-road station wagons.

The C-Class All-Terrain is 40 mm (1.58 inches) taller than the regular C-Class station wagon. Traditionally for such vehicles, a special plastic body kit protects the body.

The nine-speed automatic transmission is mated to the the4MATIC all-wheel-drive system as standard. The All-Terrain is available with gasoline and diesel engines, both with the mild-hybrid tech.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class All-Terrain price is still unknown. The base Mercedes C-Class wagon in Germany costs 46 350 euros.

It is possible that the new crossover wagon will be available not only in Europe. Given the good demand for the E-Class All-Terrain, why not? Today Mercedes delivers the E 450 4MATIC All-Terrain Wagon to the USA. It costs $ 67,600 as standard. As for the smaller C-Class All-Terrain, it will probably be cheaper. This means the new product has good chances.
