Mercedes-Benz Provided Product Roadmap For Coming Year
Last week Mercedes-Benz presented its three quarters financial results together with the company’s next year production road map.
What is new?
Apart from already presented B-Class, EQC and e-Sprinter, there will be new arrivals. The new-generation CLA is expected in the first half of 2019, while the CLA Shooting Brake will come in the second half. They both have beed spied several times during tests.
The refreshed GLC and GLC Coupe are estimated arrivals of the next-year H1. A few months later we’ll see the all-new flagship GLS SUV which challenges the newly-introduced X7 from BMW.
The first-ever compact GLB model is also on the list. It combines G-Class’s hardness with GLK’s spirit and A-Class’s comfort and technologies.
By summer 2019, a facelift V-Class should arrive. As for the new GLA, we’ll probably have to wait for its new iteration until 2020.
By late 2019, Daimler will upgrade the Smart range to make the brand fully electric in Europe, as did it before in the USA. Though, Smart’s future existence is doubtful in long-term perspective.
