Mazda CX-30 Will Cost From €24,290 In Germany

The new Mazda CX-30’s price for the German market has been announced.

The model’s price starts from €24,290 in Germany. The market launch will be in September 2019.

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 is the second model in the company’s next-generation lineup. 

Appearance and design

It has got the minimalistic KODO design. All in it is done for the comfort of occupants and driving pleasure.

The model is 4,395 mm long, 1,795 mm wide and 1,540 mm high. Its wheelbase masures 2,655 mm.

The Mazda CX-30 enters a segment which is new for the brand. Sitting between the CX-3 and the CX-5, it meets the needs of customers who want to combine compact urban dimensions with space and practicality.

Engine range

An efficient and quiet 1.8-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine consumes 47-53.5 mpg (5.0-4.4 l/100 km) and emites 129-116 g/km of CO2 (NEDC). It produces 85 kW/116 hp and max 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque.

A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 122-hp (90 kW) Skyactiv-G gasoline (petrol) engine has 39.2-46.1 mpg (6.0-5.1 l/100 km) of fuel consumption and 136-116 g/km CO2 emission level (NEDC). The torque is 157 lb-ft (213 Nm).

Both engines comply with the Euro 6d emissions standard. They are mated with the Skyactiv-MT six-speed manual transmission or the Skyactiv-Drive six-speed automatic one.

Mazda’s intelligent mild-hybrid system is provided.

In the future an innovative Skyactiv-X gasoline engine with combustion like a diesel motor will be offered for the car, using the Spark Controlled Compression Ignition (SPCCI) system.
