The redesigned Cadillac Escalade SUV begins arriving at the U.S. dealerships in October 2020.
It offers a number of bespoke features, some obvious and some more subtle.
The buyers of expensive cars require exclusivity, so the model brings premium luxury in the finest details.
The 2021 Escalade is available in five grades. Its pricing without a destination fee starts at $76,195 for the base RWD model, and goes up to $101,745 for the top-of-the-range one (not with AWD available at extra pay).
The bespoke details include the speakers with custom patterns matching the seat quilting, Cadillac signatures; tiny strokes etched in the headlights, piping in the door.
A Cadillac emblem is mounted atop the dashboard. It lights up when the driver approaches.
The most prominent feature is a paper-thin OLED screen curving around the sedan-like instrument panel.
The Cadillac Super Cruise is available for the model: it is the first true hands-free driving assistance feature.
