Customers will be able to pre-order the SEAT Tarraco already in December 2018. The mid-size crossover will go on sale early next year, the automaker reports.
SEAT dealers will open order books for the newest Tarraco crossover next month. The first deliveries of the largest SUV of the brand will start in the beginning of 2019.
The Tarraco is the largest of the three crossovers offered by SEAT today. The company successfully sells the Ateca and Arona SUVs.
SEAT offers a five- or seven-seat layout for the Tarraco, as well as front- or full-wheel drive, six-speed or seven-speed pre-selective transmission. The motor range includes four engines: two petrols (150-and 190-hp) and two diesels (150- and 190-hp).
The 2019 SEAT Tarraco prices have not been announced yet. However, we can expect that its cost will be of the same level as the adjacent Skoda Kodiaq model’s priced at about $30,000 in equivalent.
The automaker has good reason to believe that theTarraco, as formerly the Ateca, will substantially raise brand sales.
In particular, this year SEAT has already set its own record. From January to October, the company sold almost 450,000 vehicles. The crossovers made a significant contribution to this.
The company will manufacture the Tarraco in Wolfsburg, Germany at the car factory of the parent Volkswagen.
