Land Rover will unveil the long-awaited new-generation Defender SUV next year. The first teaser has been presented.
The teaser published on Facebook with the intriguing signature “Do not unwrap unit 2019” shows a camouflaged prototype being unloaded from the truck.
Land Rover hinted that some information about the model could be available on December 27, 2018.
Apparently, the SUV becomes closer to mass production. Test prototypes have been spied on roads in Great Britain. Land Rover is testing at once two versions of the Defender – a short 90 and a long 100.
Sooth to say, the company doesn’t really try to hide much. Viewers can see huge hash tags #BEST4X4XFAR on the vehicles.
Land Rover has not revealed any technical data yet. As rumored, the Defender will get a new independent suspension.
The motor range can reduce to a single 2.0-liter turbo diesel (no gasoline V8!). They will likely add a hybrid modification later on.
Let’s wait and hope that the British automaker will let know the details about the iconic Land Rover Defender still this year.
