The 2023 Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition has topped the line-up of the model in the United States. Customers can place orders now. The price starts at $76,650.
The new Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition is available to order in the USA now. This range-topping version is based on the R-Dynamic HSE model, and, in addition, brings a number of enhancements to exterior design, comfort and convenience.
The Metropolitan Edition comes with a 3.0-liter 355-hp Ingenium 6-cylinder engine. The vehicle’s powertrain adopts a 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.
The special edition features Bright Atlas elements for the grille, Discovery lettering, lower bumper inserts in the Hakuba Silver color, 22-inch Diamond Turned alloy wheels with gloss grey detailing, Black Land Rover brake calipers.
The standard interior equipment includes a head-up display, heated steering wheel, powered and heated third-row seats, a front cooler compartment, 4-zone climate control, Titanium Mesh trim.
Like other Discovery grades, the Metropolitan Edition comes with the company’s advanced Cabin Air Purification system with PM2.5 air filtration. Any Discovery vehicle boasts 8,200 pounds of towing capacity, offers the Advanced Tow Assist technology to facilitate reversing maneuvers with a trailer.
In the USA, the all-new 2023 Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition costs $76,650 including a destination and delivery charge, before taxes, retailer fees and options. The base 2023 Discovery starts at $57,950.
