The 2023 Land Rover Defender 130 with an extended body can be already configured at Land Rover USA website. The starting price is $68,000 before all fees and taxes.

The Land Rover Defender 130’s body is extended by 13.38 inches, and it gives additional space inside. The vehicle’s luggage capacity is 80.9 cubic feet with all seats folded. There are three rows of full-size seating in a 2+3+3 layout for eight adults.

The Defender 130 is 211 in long, 79 in wide, 77.6 in high, and its wheelbase is 119 inches. The maximum payload is up to 1760 pounds, while the maximum towing capacity is 8,200 pounds.

The newcomer has its own color palette including a new Sedona Red paint. An optional Extended Bright Pack for the exterior adds a unique character with Ceres Silver Satin finish around all lower body cladding.

The Four Zone Climate Control is exclusively available on the new Defender 130. The standard equipment includes an air suspension, Cabin Air Purification, and a larger 11.4-inch touchscreen for the advanced Pivi Pro infotainment system that allows what3words navigation.

The interior is trimmed in Light Oyster leather and Natural Light Oak veneer; it features extensive chrome detailing and white powder-coated Cross Car Beam.

As for powertrain choices, there are two mild-hybrid ones – P300 and P400, both based on a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium engine. The firts produces 296hp / 347 lb-ft at 1,500-4,250 rpm, the second – 395hp / 406 lb-ft at 2,000-5,000 rpm.

The Land Rover Defender 130 for the U.S. offers 5 trim levels: S, SE, X-Dynamic SE, First Edition representing the very best of the new model, and X, priced from $68,000 to $99,900. In the brand’s homeland, the choice is more varied: 12 trim levels from £80,280 to £100,645.
