Kia expands the Ceed line-up with a shooting brake to be unveiled on September 13, 2018 before its public premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October.
Based on the 2017 Kia Proceed Concept, the new car will inherit the Proceed name previously used just for a hot version of the old three-door model.
Offered only for Europe, the 2019 Kia Proceed will be a five-door variant of the latest Ceed (pictured above), with some style elements from the Ceed Sportswagon.
The new Proceed will arrive with the GT hot model. Its motor range will likely include upgraded versions of petrol and diesel engines taken from a regular Ceed: a turbo 1.0-liter 120-hp, a 1.4-liter 140-hp and a more basic 1.4-litre 99-hp.
A tuned variant of a 1.6-litre 203-hp turbocharged motor is also possible.
A SUV to sit between the Kia Stonic and Sportage may join the Ceed line-up in 2019.
