Kia EV6 First Edition Fully Reserved, Deliveries in Q1 Next Year

The Kia EV6 First Edition has been fully reserved the day the offer became available on Kia’s website.

The First Edition is a limited-run version. It is available only in the quantity of 1500 vehicles. The fact that “charged up” demand has already overwhelmed the reservation book is a good sign for the model’s future.

The Kia EV6 First Edition cars will be arriving at U.S. dealers in the first quarter of 2022.

For the First Edition, Kia offers a choice of three gifts: an at-home vehicle charger, a 1000 kWh credit within a national charging network, an Apple Watch for connecting to the vehicle’s Kia Connect services. Interestingly, most pre-order registrants – over 81 percent – have chosen the at-home charger.

Customers can opt for one of three color combinations. They are Urban Yellow with black seats, Glacier (white) with dark green seats, and Steel Gray Matte with black seats. The Urban Yellow exterior color and dark green seats on the Glacier variant are exclusive to the First Edition.

This special edition features Illuminated door sills with “First Edition” designation, a numbered interior badge, an augmented reality head-up display, Remote Smart Parking Assist, a sunroof, 20-inch wheels, a premium Meridian audio system with 14 speakers, dual-motor AWD, and a 77.4 kWh battery.
