Jeep Grand Cherokee Celebrates Its 30th Birthday with a Special Edition

A commemorative 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition will be on display on September 17-25, 2022 at the 2022 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The automaker launches a special version of its most-awarded SUV model – the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition.

Jeep shows it at the NAIAS and then, later this year, the company will inform of its price, and the model will be available to order. Expect it at dealers by early 2023.

To Buy Or Not To Buy a Grand Cherokee?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in 2- and 3-row layouts (L version), and as a plug-in hybrid Cherokee 4xe.

Certainly, the model is worth your attention, if you don’t mind its relatively high price, below-average cargo capacity of 2-row vehicles, and mediocre fuel economy of non-hybrid models.

Unlike most rivals, such as the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Telluride, or the Hyundai Palisade, the Jeep Grand Cherokee better handles rough terrain due to its stellar off-roading capabilities. The Jeep’s on-road ride and handling dynamics are also nice.

In addition to great performance, current Jeep SUVs, including the Cherokee lineup, feature cool interiors: upscale, convenient, and modern, with many luxurious options and a top-notch infotainment system.

Choose a Grand Cherokee if you need a premium midsize SUV equally good for daily driving and off-road exercises.

Now a few words about a newcomer.

This edition has an exclusive blacked-out exterior featuring 20-inch wheels and wheel flares, body-color rear fascia and revamped front fascia, specific badging, signature blue tow hooks and dual exhaust, sill claddings, and lower moldings.

The SUV also features front and rear park assist, passive entry, Intersection Collision Assist, a digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
