Today Hyundai Motor has revealed additional design details of its new Staria multi-purpose vehicle lineup.
The company designed the model for both families and businesses using an ‘inside-out’ approach meaning the priority of interior space. In the Staria, the cabin resembles a ‘spaceship’.
The Hyundai Staria previews space innovations, which will be available in the future through Purpose Built Vehicles (PBV). Its streamlined silhouette is inspired by the halo illuminating Earth’s horizon during sunrise when viewed from space.
The high-end Hyundai Staria Premium adds exclusive design cues: a grille with a special mesh pattern, cube-type full-LED headlamps with chrome line around, Hyundai’s Parametric Pixel design of rear lamps; tinted brass chrome applied to the emblem, wheels, side mirrors and door handles. Unique 18-inch wheels include diamond patterns and graphics.
The vehicle’s lounge-like luxurious interior features lower beltlines, expansive panoramic windows and creates a spacious environment for passengers.
The driver-focused cockpit has a 10.25-inch front display screen, touch-based center fascia, and a button-type electronic shift lever. The digital cluster is located on top of the dashboard.
The Staria offers plenty of storage place and additional interior features, 64-color ambient mood lighting, multiple seating arrangements (from 2 to 11). The Staria Premium is available in 7-, 9- 11-seat configurations. A 9-seater has second-row seats able to swivel 180 degrees to face passengers in the third row.
The official world premiere of the model will take place in a digital format in the 1st half of 2021.
