A YouTuber has released new renderings of the upcoming production-ready Hyundai Santa Cruz unibody pickup truck.
Unlike the trucks-“workhorses”, this vehicle is a more sophisticated, utilitarian global model, a visual standout, at the same time.
AtchaCars took the spy photos of a month ago and pretty accurately turn them into rendering images.
Based on the 2015 Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover Truck Concept, the pickup is an embodiment of Hyundai’s latest design DNA seen on the Elantra, Sonata, Palisade or the Genesis GV80.
In the renderings the emphasis is on the front facia. The grille pattern, the lighting setup resembles those on the next-gen Tucson and the Palisade.
The rear part was largely camouflaged in spy shots, expect a little bed like the Honda Ridgeline’s.
Inside, the pickup will probably share some features with the upcoming Hyundai Tucson. But the model-specific features inherent only to the Santa Cruz should also be.
Hyundai will unveil the vehicle in late 2020 to send it to production at the Alabama plant next year.
