Hyundai extends its warranty coverage adding complimentary maintenance.
Now the company is offering factory-scheduled free maintenance on new vehicles for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Moreover, it has recently announced the warranties expiring between March-June will be prolonged thorough June 30, 2020.
The maintenance includes oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations. It begins with the 2020 models bought from February 1 and further on.
Hyundai’s warranty is one of the most competitive on the market. By length of coverage (3 years / 36,000 miles), the revised offering puts the company in line with premium brands like Genesis, BMW or Volvo.
For comparison: Toyota offers 2 years or 25,000 miles of complimentary maintenance, Volkswagen – 2 years / 20,000 miles, Lincoln – 4 years / 50,000 miles, Jaguar- 5 years / 60,000 miles. General Motors covers the first maintenance visit.
Kia had the same warranty coverage as Hyundai, but there is no info for now, if Kia will expand its coverage in the same way as Hyundai.
