Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tucson Appear in a New ‘Spider-Man’ Film

The all-new Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Hyundai Tucson will make their Hollywood debut in the upcoming film “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

Hyundai Motor Company launches an integrated marketing program in collaboration with Sony Pictures. As part of this, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the company’s first vehicle on the dedicated E-GMP platform and the first representative of the ‘IONIQ’ sub-brand, and the new-gen Hyundai Tucson are involved in key moments of the storyline of the new Sony Pictures’ and Marvel Studios’ movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, Hyundai informs.

This partnership is an opportunity for the Korean automaker to showcase its human-centered mobility vision via the products and new technologies. The film’s theatrical release will take place on December 17, 2021.

In addition, Hyundai’s global marketing campaign includes a new TV spot that promotes the Ioniq 5 with actor Tom Holland as Spider-Man, directed by Jon Watts. Through January 2022, the 30-second broadcast version will air as part of TV programs in global markets: Europe, the USA, China.

Moreover, the automaker has created a 30-second spot featuring the Hyundai Tucson compact SUV and showing key scenes from the film in which Tucson and Tom Holland starred.

Besides, there will be digital promotional activities. In particular, Hyundai fans will be able to obtain a “Hyundai Ioniq 5 x Spider-Man: No Way Home” special edition poster, and customized digital wallpapers on social media. A behind-the-scenes video of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 commercial and other contents will be available online as well.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 entered the European market not so long ago, and customers there accepted the model very well. The vehicle costs from £36,995 in Great Britain, from 41,900 EUR in Germany, 41,100 EUR in France. The electric crossover SUV will be available in the USA in the winter of 2022.

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is on sale in global markets. The net price in America starts at $25,320; the Tucson Hybrid costs from $29,200, and a plug-in hybrid version is $34,750. In the UK, it costs from £28,760, from 33,700 EUR in Germany, and from 27 900 EUR in France.
