Hyundai At the IAA Frankfurt 2019: PART 2

Hyundai Motors prepared several new products to present them at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Hyundai i30 N Project C and the Hyundai i10 N Line are among them.

Hyundai i30 N Project C

The 5-door hatchback is a special version for speed lovers built on the most powerful i30 N.

Under the hood there is a 2.0-liter 275-hp (202-kW) gasoline turbo engine. It delivers 279 lb-ft (378 Nm) of torque and is mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox with optimized gear shifting.

Acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) takes 6.0 seconds, a top speed is 155 mph (250 km/h).

Developers paid particular attention to a suspension. They installed shortened springs and sports shock absorbers into the rear suspension to improve the car’s behavior at high speeds when driving in straight and at sharp cornering.

The model has a unique carbon-fiber body kit (including the hood and rear diffuser) to reduce the curb weight by 50 kg compared to the standard Hyundai i30 N.

The interior is full of sporty details: Sabelt front seats with a prominent side and lumbar support, a shortened aluminum gearshift, a sports steering wheel of Alcantara.

The Hyundai i30 N Project C will be available only to European purchasers in limited quantity of 600 vehicles.

Hyundai i10 N Line

Apart from the new-gen Hyundai i10, the company has introduced in Frankfurt its sports N Line version combining dynamic design, utilitarian comfort, up-to-date safety and connectivity.

The car received modified front and rear bumpers, a grille with integrated LED strips of daytime running lights, 16-inch light-alloy wheels of exclusive design.

The distinctive exterior features are red inserts on bumpers and wheel hubs, an N Line logo on the grille. Buyers will be able to choose from six body colors. An optinal two-color roof is available too.

Inside you can see a unique steering wheel and a gearbox with the “N” logo, sports chairs with increased lateral and lumbar support, aluminum pedals.

The Hyundai i10 N Line goes on sale in summer 2020.
