Hyundai Motor has introduced a new Style Set Free Concept at the IAA Frankfurt 2019.
It brings together new models and prototypes, as well as social and fashion projects of the brand.
The 2019 Hyundai 45 EV Concept embodies a new approach to electric car styling: minimalism and evolution of the Sensuous Sportiness design direction.
The prototype is named after the 1974 Pony Coupe Concept and inspired by aircrafts from the 1920s.
The car’s name also owes itself in part to the 45-degree angles at the front and rear. They form a diamond-shaped silhouette previewing Hyundai’s future electric models design.
The car features a three-projection grille, ‘kinetic cube’ headlamps and taillights, sliding doors with Dynamic Daylight Opening (DLO) mechanism; LED battery level indicators on the front doors, Camera Monitoring System (CMS).
The interior highlights are customization and functionality. There are ergonomic front and rear seats made of wood, fabric and leather. The front seats are rotative.
Developers put the batteries into the flat bottom and mount the motors into the originally shaped wheels with aerodynamic effect.

The electric sports car has a unique livery, aerodynamic overhanging around the perimeter of the body and a large rear spoiler.
The Hyundai Veloster N ETCR feutures a mid-engine layout, rear-wheel drive and a 65-kWh battery. The details about the car will be announced later.
