Hyundai has released teasers of its SEVEN all-electric SUV concept. The prototype will debut later this month at AutoMobility LA. The Hyundai SEVEN concept previews a production Hyundai Ioniq 7.
Hyundai Motor has published the teasers of its new concept, which are rather laconic and give scarce information about the SEVEN prototype. The images just reveal the premium and personalized ambiance of the cabin. Hyundai talks about eco-friendly materials, Parametric Pixels lighting architecture.
The image with a small section of the front part reveals a little more than nothing about the appearance of the SEVEN concept. Therefore, an idea of the exterior design of the Hyundai Ioniq 7’s possible forerunner will be presented in Los Angeles starting November 17. The company will demonstrate the SEVEN prototype to the general public there.
However, the very fact of the introduction of the Hyundai SEVEN concept is already interesting. The automaker clearly shows its real commitment to electrification. It is now obvious that plans to launch the large electric SUV – Ioniq 7 – in 2024 are feasible.
The fact is that the new E-GMP platform opens up wide opportunities for Hyundai Motor to develop a wide variety of electric vehicles fast, including large SUVs. The Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Genesis GV60 crossovers ride on it now, and the Ioniq 6 sedan is around the corner.
On the other hand, Hyundai can’t help thinking about the interior evolution, and the point is not only in the environmental friendliness of materials, although this is also important. The SEVEN concept represents Hyundai’s vision of a modern interior that reflects changing lifestyles of its customers.
