A South Korean forum has posted Hyundai 2020 launch plan.
This is an unconfirmed roadmap of Hyundai’s largest factory in Ulsan. The cars are listed by their codenames. According to it, the automaker plans to launch hybrid and N-Line versions of the Elantra in June, the Kona N in July, the next-gen Genesis GV70 in October 2020.
Due to the coronavirus, the timetable may change. Thus, as this blog claims, the GV70 has been recently reported to the released in 2021.
Apart from the upcoming GV70 and G70 Facelift, Genesis will expand the lineup with other models.
What else can be expected during this year?
The Hyundai Santa Fe Facelift TM is due to be released in May with different powertrains including a hybrid one. Expect its plug-in hybrid version in December.
The Hyundai Tucson NX4 should arrive in August, bringing a real hybrid powertrain for the new generation.
The Santa Cruz pickup truck is coming, along with a production version of the 45 Concept and a mid-engine sports car.
Some new derivatives are underway, including the Hyundai Sonata N Line and the i20 N.
