After a long teasing campaign, the Skoda Kodiaq RS has finally appeared on official photos published on the eve of the public premiere at the Paris Motor Show.
The first RS crossover of the brand can boast a new RS logo, large 20-inch wheels and attractive exhaust nozzles.
Inspired by the teasers, we expected to see a more aggressive model. Eventually, the newcomer looks rather peaceful and is similar to the Kodiaq Sportline. We’re disappointed a bit.
However, all the main changes are in the technical part.
The Kodiaq RS features a 2,0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine with 236 hp and more powerful brakes.
The fast Kodiaq also gets a wide range of standard equipment: all-LED head optics, a digital instrument panel, a full-wheel-drive system.
For the first time for Skoda there is a Dynamic Sound Boost system that artificially generates engine sound depending on the selected driving mode.
The 2019 Skoda Kodiaq RS will be officially presented tomorrow, when the Paris Motor Show opens its doors.
