At the Geneva International Motor Show 2019 (March, 7-17) Honda will present its all-new electric car in a production body inspired by the 2017 Honda Urban EV Concept. Ahead of the premiere, the automaker has published and official teaser of the vehicle’s interior.
We can see the front panel in minimalist Japanese style typically found in cars for the domestic market. So, the European customers will be surprised with such an off-the-beaten-track solution for a global model.
What attracts our attention first? Certainly, a huge multimedia display that integrates all functions: a navigation system, a control center and a digital instrument panel. Here we also see specific indicators like residual charging time – a necessary function for an electric vehicle.
However, there are physical switches as well. In front of the touchscreen, on the wooden (really?..) panel, we see several buttons and a whole climate control unit beneath.
For the moment Honda reveals no technical details. The image on the screen demonstrates a lovely 5-door hatchback. In March we’ll know all.
The new Honda model will go on sale in Europe till the end of this year.
