The automaker has previewed the styling of the Honda Prologue adventure-ready all-electric SUV in the first sketch. The model will be launched in the market in 2024.
The all-new Honda Prologue with a neo-rugged look is the brand’s first model primarily designed through virtual reality visualization technology. The Honda Design Studio in Los Angeles and the Honda design team in Japan together worked on the model.
The Prologue’s exterior features clean, simple lines, a strong stance, a long wheelbase, a shorter overhang, and capable tires. This is an SUV strongly influenced by global all-electric models of the brand including the Honda e.
The developers of the Honda Prologue focused on aerodynamics. To reduce cabin noise and improve range, they made a fine-tuned body with fewer lines and a simple surface direction.
In 2024, Honda will begin sales of the Prologue. In 2 years (2026), new Honda e:Architecture-based models made in co-development with General Motors will go into production and sale.
