Today the carmaker has announced the start of mass production of the 2022 Honda Passport and the first-ever Passport TrailSport at the Alabama Auto Plant (AAP) in Lincoln.
The refreshed 2022 Honda Passport and the all-new Passport TrailSport are launched into series production at the company’s facility in Alabama, which is an exclusive production site for Honda’s new TrailSport lineup. The Pilot TrailSport has been in production there since October 2021, now the Passport TrailSport is joining.

Honda also builds the Ridgeline and Odyssey models for global markets at the AAP.
The offroad-oriented TrailSport versions have strong unibody construction, front and rear independent suspensions, a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system.
Exteriors and interiors have TrailSport exclusive features, such as a unique grille, 18-inch black alloy wheels with sport tires, an orange-on-black TrailSport badging.
As we previously reported, the restyled 2022 Honda Passport is coming to U.S. dealerships this winter. The pricing starts at $39,095.
