At the upcoming LA Auto Show 2019 (Nov 22 – Dec 1) Honda presents an all-new CR-V Hybrid, a display as part of “Safety for Everyone” campaign, a vintage Honda car and others.
The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid with the innovative two-motor hybrid-electric powertrain technology is the latest vehicle in Honda’s electrified lineup and the first hybrid SUV of the brand in the United States. It goes on sale in spring 2020.
Honda’s Safety Zone at the Los Angeles Convention Center will display a crash-tested 10th-generation Civic Coupe.
In addition, on November 20, Kyle Shaules, a customer of Honda participating in “Safety for Everyone” social media campaign, will share his real-life survival experience with the 2016 Honda Civic LX.
Honda began the campaign in September 2019 and focuses on how one collision can affect many. Safety for Everyone represents the stories of real Honda customers.
Honda’s tech-savvy and interactive pavilions will include:
- HondaLens Live – an augmented reality showcase of the 2020 CR-V Hybrid;
- Honda Safety Zone – a crash-tested 2019 Honda Civic Coupe (pictured above), real-world customer storytelling and a Seatbelt Selfie Wall;
- Honda x Gaming Zone – live appearances by premier global eSports organization, Team Liquid, and an interactive retro-style Honda Circuit racing game.
As part of the 60th anniversary celebration, there will be a special display of a vintage Honda car and a replica of an original pickup truck. The latter was once used by Honda sales representatives to deliver Honda motorcycles to the first Honda dealers in California.
