Honda Civic Type R Hits Dealership Lots, CR-V Hybrid Put Into Production

The all-new 2023 Honda Civic Type R will begin arriving at U.S dealerships tomorrow. In addition, on October 25, 2022, the company started production of the 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid.

Good news has come from Honda this month. First, new CR-V Hybrid vehicles have already rolled off the assembly line. Second, the Civic Type R hot hatchbacks will be hitting showrooms nationwide from October 28, 2022. Both Civic and CR-V and Honda’s strong-selling models.

The automaker has announced pricing for its most powerful ever 315-hp production vehicle. The price starts at $43,990 including a destination fee.

The 2023 Civic itself is a terrific car with a comfy user-friendly cabin, poised ride and handling, ample cargo space, and plenty of standard safety features. But its range-topping Type R version is the icing on the cake that benefits from even sleeker exterior styling and greater performance.

2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid

The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid with a new-gen hybrid-electric system went into production in Canada on October 25, 2022, and will be put on the assembly line at the U.S. plants in Ohio and Indiana in the coming months. The regular 2023 Honda CR-V has been already in production since September 22.

The Honda CR-V Hybrid is a strong choice in the hybrid SUV class, though not as good as the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, in our opinion. Nearly half of sales of the CR-V are hybrid.

The CR-V Hybrid has an upscale, roomy interior, plenty of cargo space, an energetic efficient powertrain, and many standard features. Besides, the model provides solid acceleration and a smooth ride.
