Porsche has announced prices for four hybrid versions of the new 2020 Cayenne.
The German automaker has published pricing for new hybrid Cayennes in Europe. They cost from €91,684 to €176,293.
Turbo S E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé
Plug-in hybrid Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé are powerful and efficient.
The powertrain produces decent 680 hp (500 kW) in total thanks to a 4.0-liter V8 and an electric motor combined with an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission.
In E-Power driving mode, the electric motor can propel the vehicle on its own up to a top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph). For an extra power boost, it can also be used in other modes selected via the standard Sport Chrono Package (Hybrid Auto, Sport and Sport Plus).
The max torque is 900 Nm (664 lb-ft). Both models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). The electric-only driving range is 40 km (25 mi).
A 14.1-kWh lithium-ion battery can be fully charged within 2.4 hours with the standard 7.2 kW onboard AC charger, if to use a 400-volt connection with a 16-amp fuse.
Charging from an usual domestic socket takes 6 hours. Customers can schedule charging via Porsche Communication Management (PCM) or the Porsche Connect app.
A roll stabilization system, an air suspension, ceramic brakes are standard, as well as full connectivity and auxiliary air conditioning.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and the E-Hybrid Coupé consume on average 3.9–3.7 l/100 km (fuel), 19.6–18.7 kWh/100 km (electric), combined CO2 emissions are 90–85 g/km.
Porsche also added a sportier SUV coupe version to the Cayenne lineup. Its distinctive features are sharper lines with a unique roof and rear section, an adaptive rear spoiler, a rear bench serving like two individual seats, two different roof designs.
Two hybrid variants are available: with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and a 3.0-liter V6 turbo one. The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe’s powertrain delivers 340 kW (462 hp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft).
With the standard Sport Chrono Package, it accelerates to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.1 seconds (5.0 sec with lightweight sports packages) and gains a top speed of 253 km/h (157 mph). The electric-only range is up to 43 km (26.7 mi).
The average consumption is 3.2–3.1 l/100 km (fuel) and 18.7 – 17.7 kWh/100 km (electric). Combined CO2 emissions are 75–72 g/km.
Four hybrid versions are now available to order In Europe. It is about the Cayenne E-Hybrid (from €91,684), the Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé (€95,968), the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid (€172,604) and the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé (€176,293).
