Ford Puma Enters the UK Market

The new crossover coupe goes on sale in Europe. The Ford Puma costs from £20,845 (about $25,700) in Great Britain.

Ford launches its new Puma crossover on the UK market. Buyers will receive their first cars in January 2020. The base price is £20,845. It seems quite expensive for a model of this class.

The Titanium First Edition vehicles will be available first at £22,295 ($27,500). This package includes a rear view camera, intelligent adaptive cruise control, seats and steering wheel heating.

For now, we only know the Ford Puma’s pricing. Reservations can be made from early 2020.

The Puma is equipped with a 1.0-liter 123-hp EcoBoost 3-cylinder engine enhanced by a mild-hybrid technology and able to switch automatically to the two-cylinder mode. A belt-driven starter generator in the Stop-Start mode can restart the engine in a third of a second.

The lineup also includes the ST-Line X First Edition Plus with a more potent 155-hp engine.

The new compact SUV is 30 mm higher and slightly longer than the latest Ford Fiesta. The Puma has a relatively roomy cabin for this segment and 456 liters (16 ft3) of cargo space.
