Pending the market launch of the new Ford F-150, the automaker provides the model fans with an augmented-reality tool.
Using the tool and even without leaving home, a person can virtually put the vehicle anywhere, and see how it will look like.
All you need is a phone to project the new Ford F-150. It can be resized to fit different spaces, parked in parking lots, porches and mini pools – in all the sites where we could point our phones.
The 2021 Ford F-150 debuted in June. It received some updates inside and out, and a new PowerBoost hybrid powertrain with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, a 35-kW (47-hp) electric motor and a 1.5-kWh battery. The output is over 450 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.
This powertrain comes with rear- or four-wheel drive and a 10-speed AT. Ford claims a max. range of 700 miles for the hybrid with its 30.6-gallon fuel tank.
The model will reach dealerships very soon, already this fall, with the pricing from $30,635 to $75,945.
