The all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E has captivated buyers around the world, especially in Europe. For consumer interest not to decrease but to grow, the automaker is preparing improvements to introduce them in the spring of 2022.
Today Ford’s engineers are working on important updates to the Mustang Mach-E, especially at the technical level, according to motor.es.
Modernization of the battery pack is the main modification. Its full capacity will remain the same 98.7 kWh, but there is always an additional margin – the difference between the full and useful capacity.
In the case of the Mustang Mach-E, the difference enables additional upgrades. As a result, the current net power will increase from 88 to 91 kWh. This small charge, at first glance, will allow enlarging the driving range by about 10 miles or 16 kilometers.
Ford will launch a related wireless update of the control software, so already sold crossovers will also receive additional miles/km.
Moreover, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E will get another small but tangible improvement. This is about the cargo compartment in the front.

Engineers have removed the old partitions in the trunk in such a way that its useful volume increases from the current 2.9 to 3.5 cubic feet or 81 to 100 liters. Not many, but the additional cargo space is not superfluous.
Again, both innovations are expected in the spring of 2022.
